Beyond The Cage MMA Expo Announces Schedule of Events
South Florida’s largest mixed martial arts exhibition releases times for Brazilian Jiu Jitzu tournament, super fights, celebrity autograph sessions, training seminars, and more
(BOCA RATON, Fla.) November 21, 2012 – The Beyond The Cage MMA Expo (http://www.btcmmaexpo.com), South Florida’s largest mixed martial arts exhibition, announced its schedule of events for this Sunday, November 25.
As a last minute addition to the show, Alistair Overeem, “Demolition Man,” the reigning Lineal Mixed Martial Arts Champion, and former Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion, will be in attendance with other recently added fighters. Overeem made history as the only fighter in combat sports to hold a world title in both MMA and K-1 kickboxing at the same time. He holds notable MMA victories over Fabricio Werdum, Mark Hunt, Paul Buentello, Todd Duffee, Igor Vovchanchyn, Vitor Belfort(x2), Brett Rogers, and Brock Lesnar.

Don Oriolo, artist of Felix The Cat, will paint a 5’ x 4’ painting of Felix The Cat, live at the expo. His painting will feature Felix The Cat, one of the most recognized cartoon characters for generations, posing as an MMA fighter. Oriolo will raffle off his MMA Felix The Cat fighter to benefit It Ain’t Chemo (http://www.itaintchemo.com), a non-profit organization that provides cancer patients with comfort and care supplies, advice, and emotional support.

Voted the “Best Core Gym in the country” by Men’s Health magazine, the Institute of Human Performance (IHP) will be demonstrating MMA strength and conditioning exercises. JC Santana, owner of IHP, was named “America’s leading practitioner of functional training” by Men’s Journal magazine and awarded “presenter of the year” five times by such major fitness organizations as IDEA, IRHSA, ECA, and TSI.
